Tenebrae

Tenebrae is the Latin word for "darkness", a service of shadows. Through candlelight, scripture reading, prayer, and music we will commemorate the passion of Christ, the last hours of Jesus' life leading up to the crucifixion and the profound message of Jesus' sacrifice for our sins. The service will conclude in silence, symbolizing Jesus lying in the tomb, as we anticipate the joyous celebration of His resurrection on Easter Sunday.
